First on my list are title tags. They give your website huge attitude and they usually represent your website’s key. A title tag is in fact the word or the phrase that defines your web page. It should be a strong title, original, but concrete. Don’t make it too long, because people will fail to understand it and don’t make it too vague because people like clarity. Every of your website’s page should have such title tag added. It’s a wonderful method to make people’s search easier. Using tag titles will help people go to the exact page they’re looking for.
Link exchange is another popular technique. Your website should include other websites’ links. You can use one link word to redirect people to another site. Your offer for the visitors becomes bigger and the traffic might get bigger as well. Take care when you receive link exchange invitations. It is recommended to choose websites that are similar to your website or websites that complete yours. People don’t like to find links that leads them to websites totally different from the one they are visiting. Connectivity between websites is an advantage for everybody: websites receive free advertising and more visitors, while people receive more information about the stuff they are interested in.
Don’t exaggerate with your website’s key words. It is great to strengthen the general idea of your website by using often your key words, but you also need to maintain a balance. It is recommended to use key words in the title, at the beginning of the first page and even at the page’s end. In this way you make sure that people will keep them in mind, without getting them bored with your insistence.
Did you know that the size of internet pages is related to the internet’s speed? The size of your website’s pages should be not too small and not to big. Try to keep them somewhere in the middle. In this way people won’t have to wait too much in order to enter your website.
Try to write articles on different themes and to add them to your website. Many times people want to find out more about certain products and it would be great to give them some extra information in those related pages. All such articles need to present one of the website’s themes. These extra pages are very useful when somebody gives a search on the internet. Thematic searches have become very popular because they are much more illustrative than simple word search.
As a last piece of advice I suggest you to link all your website pages one to another. Sometimes people want to go back to a previous idea and to read it again and you have to make this easier for them.
